The role
We are looking for a mid-level electronics engineering professional to join our Remote team and take technical ownership of project delivery from brief through to issued documentation.
What you will be doing
Take technical ownership of assigned work packages from design basis through to issued deliverables
Produce calculations, models and drawings to the applicable standards and to our internal check protocol
Check and review the work of other engineers, and accept review of your own
Coordinate with other disciplines and resolve interfaces before they become site problems
Attend client and authority meetings and defend the technical position
Contribute to proposals and scope definition on new work
What the team needs from you
Degree in electronics engineering or a closely related field
3+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
Working competence in the software listed for this role
Demonstrated experience with the applicable design standards
Clear written English — our deliverables are read by clients and reviewers
Tools and standards
Working competence with the design standards below matters more at interview than the software list. Software is learnable in weeks; a code is not.
